New York Dream Hotel

Located just above Times Square, the Dream Hotel is still on the edge of midtown Manhattan’s bustling action. But what makes Dream stand out from most city hotels is its unique décor housed in a landmark 1895 Beaux-Arts building that combines minimal aesthetics, a lobby that takes guests below ground to the Chopra Center (offering therapeutic spa and beauty treatments taught by Deepak Chopra) and quirky features such as a giant statue of Catherine the Great and a two-story aquarium all in one. More quirky are the hotel’s 220 rooms and 14 suites, dressed up in all-white with neon-blue lighting underneath the beds and glass-topped desks.

Guests at the Dream Hotel will appreciate an abundance of amenities that include 18-hour room service, plasma television, 24-hour concierge, dual-line phones with voicemail and dataport, valet services, a desk/workspace, high-speed internet service (for a fee), an in-room safe, state-of-the-art meeting room and individual climate control. The hotel also offers plenty of dining and entertainment options with its on-site restaurant Serafina, noted for its fine Italian cuisine, a new lobby lounge, Rm.Fifty5 and Ava Lounge, a rooftop bar that offers stunning views of the New York skyline, Hudson River and Times Square. Dream Hotel welcomes pets (with an additional nightly fee) and is a non-smoking NY hotel.

The relaxed vibe at Dream Hotel makes for the perfect getaway from all the commotion going on in the city. Room key cards are imprinted with local restaurant and shopping suggestions. The nearby subway will take guests around the city while attractions such as Central Park, Carnegie Hall, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall and Times Square are within walking distance.
